Preparing for a long camping trip and wanted solar power to charge small battery bank 250/350w. First attempt with DC input was a waste of solar energy and 60w was convertered down to about 5v. Took all day to get 50% charge. Second attempt with usb c cable. Success! You get almost the full 60w. Cut charge time down to 6 hrs. Also charged my phone in 1hr. Great little emergency kit and very convenient! I think I am hooked.
This solar panel is sturdy and great. I personally think it was a great value, especially since you can take it on the go
I ordered this to try out and have it on hand for future use. I told my daughter about this and she said I NEED THAT now. So she took it on the kids end of end-of-year karate camping trip. She rented herself a cabin with electricity while her kids slept in the tents along with their peers. She got this charged and used it to keep their phones charged and as it turned out she also charged a lot of other children's phones.
I will keep it charged in the event of power outages which happen a great deal in my area due to underwater power lines that need to be replaced.
I used this on an 18 day river trip to charge my phone, camera batteries, and garmin inreach. It also charged power packs and phones for others on the trip. With the large surface area of solar panels, this unit was able to charge devices in a couple hours. It was also able to charge 3 devices at the same time in a few hours.

If you primarily need to charge small devices like smartphones, drones, etc., and require a power supply for up to 2 days while emphasizing portability, then Lum Power 300 would be an excellent choice. If you wish to expand the range of charging devices to the extent of boiling water or need power for 3-4 days continuously, then Lum Power 600 might be what you need. However, if you want to power most large appliances, Lum Power 1000 would be the suitable option.
